Happy Anniversary Leg!

For those of you who don't know two years ago, today, Celine and I got hitched at the Tropicana Hotel, Las Vegas. In case you are wondering it was neither a shotgun or Elvis themed wedding. After that we spent the next year and a half in Petersham, Sydney before deciding on Hanoi as our next home.

Today we only had this morning free so we jumped out of bed early and headed for the Old Quarter. There we had a tasty breakfast at the City View Cafe; a cafe that has great views of Hoan Kiem Lake and a birds eye view of all that is happening on the streets below. After that we went shopping for a jade bracelet thing (you will have to check with Celine for correct terminology as I have no idea) before a relaxing massage at a place called Just Massage. Just Massage is a great little company whose therapists are all visually impaired and often come from disadvantaged backgrounds. Here they have stable employment and a respectable job in a city that can otherwise lead to significant hardships; and damn do they do a a good job. After a hour long massage we were both extremely relaxed.

We spent the next 30 minutes checking out a massive market in the Entertainment centre before Celine had to head off to work. We have decided to use our time in Thailand as an extended anniversary Celebration.
